OPPO Ties Up With Amazon India To Sell Smartphones Online Exclusively

Chinese mobile brand Oppo has partnered with Amazon India, to sell its smartphones online through the online retailer starting 14 July. 

According to the company, Oppo's entire smartphone range launched in India till date, including the Oppo N1 and the recently launched Find 7, will be available to online customers. 

Previously, Oppo smartphones were not available online barring a few eBay listings from third party sellers and importers. 

Commenting on the partnership, Tom Lu, CEO, Oppo Mobiles India, said "Consumer orientation features big on our philosophy. In today's digital age, consumers are spending a lot of time online, out of which e-commerce grabs a big share. We want Indian consumers to be able to buy OPPO smartphones from every nook and corner of the country. And Amazon India will help us do just that. OPPO's smartphones have been appreciated globally and we want to reach out to all those Indian customers who are in pursuit of higher quality products with true innovation." 

Recently, Oppo launched its flagship device, the OPPO Find 7 and Find 7A in the Indian markets. 

Oppo had also announced plans for service network expansion in India with a target of over 200 service centers in the next one year. The company says it is targeting a mix of at least 10 products that cover the price range from sub-Rs 10,000 to around Rs 40,000, this year.

Oppo forayed into the Indian market in early 2014 with is Oppo N1 smartphone. Besides the N1, Oppo's current India portfolio includes the Oppo R1, Oppo Find 5 Mini, Oppo Neo, Oppo Yoyo, Oppo Joy and OPPO Find 7 and its lower-end variant Find 7A.

XOLO Q1011 with Android 4.4 KitKat Launched in India Exclusively on Amazon India

Indian phone maker XOLO has unveiled a new device today. The Q1011 may or may not serve as a follow-up to the Q1010, coming with a different design but mostly similar specs. One thing's for certain, though - the new handset is already up for grabs at Amazon India.
The Main USP of the Handset are ANdroid KitKat 4.4 Pre-Intalled, 720P Display at 10K price bracket.

The XOLO Q1011 comes with a 5-inch touchscreen with 720p resolution, as well as a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
On the back there's an 8MP BSI camera with LED flash, and a 2MP snapper takes care of selfies. The phone has dual-SIM support and 4GB of internal storage that's expandable via microSD cards. A 2250 mAh Li-Po battery keeps things running smoothly, and Android 4.4 KitKat comes preinstalled.
